‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ is a government initiative aimed at promoting mutual understanding and cultural integration among the people of different states and union territories of the country . Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) also adopts this initiative and organizes a cultural festival every year in its schools. In this festival, the spirit of unity in diversity is shown and the national heritage is showcased.
Under this programme, the following activities are conducted:

- Sharing traditions, music, tours, food, sports, and best practices
