Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector 47 (II Shift) has started working in 2004 for Classes I to IX then next year promoted up to class X . Later on in the year 2022 the school has been sanctioned class XI and XII Humanities Stream Section.
The Vidyalaya uses the resources of First Shift Vidylaya which was established in year 1966.
